i agree 100% with the previous reviewer, lhdalin my case, i tried the following programs:dopdf (free) / nova pdf (the same company's shareware version)jaws pdfpdf creatorpdffactoryi put them all to a test of two documents, a complex word file with different fonts, tables and watermarks, and a visio diagram with comments.none produced good enough results for me.finally, and fortunately, i tried pdf xchange. it produces files of the same size and equal quality to adobe's original acrobat. plus, it allows you to fine tune the output with a lot of options.highly recommended for the price.

ok they fixed the program today. pretty sloppy testing procedures, support told me there was a compilation error with v2.2.2.0. it's working again now!

@lord -to start with you have felt the need to explain yourself to yours truly as your comments testify - in addition anyone who feels they are a 'power user' needs to get a grip on life & is delusional - what differentiates a ␘power user␙ from a mere human such as myself apart such a person having an inherent mental aberration?you did mention the '$' in your review so yes money was a part of it, i feel the stardock gizmo is the best replacement there is but still can't work out why ms removed the ability for users ('power' or normal) to use the start menu maybe on initial install but that's another story.edit: ignore the 'power user' part of my review as lord has edited his/hers ~

absolutely fantastic client! used it on ubuntu for a long time but the windows version was too buggy. just recently tried it again and it's much better. way more stable, really quick and not experiencing any issues i was have a while ago.keep up the awesome work deluge team.

old, outdated, way past its "best before " date.if you really don't care about what your music sounds like (which is the vast majority of users - i get that) then this is for you.if you do care, there's foobar2000, xmplay and aimp - all are well designed and coded, more full-featured regarding audio quality and much lighter.also they don't feature crapware.@music4ever:now i understand your nym, given your setup. on linux give deadbeef a try. i did audacious and it was ok until i tried deadbeef. imnsho, that's foobar on linux.two stars for mediocrity at its finest.

i absolutely love this program. i am a professional photographer and use for editing on 95% of the shots that i take now. sure, there are things that this program can't do and that you need a program like photoshop for, but those are things that most people are likely to need to do only once in a great while (and maybe never). since this program came out, i have (almost) stopped using photoshop all together. this program is so much smaller, lighter, faster, less boated and easier to use than a huge editing applications like photoshop, that unless there is a specific reason to have to do so, is just a far better tool to use for nearly all of your editing needs, at just about every level. well done!

as i already use some pretty decent anti-malware this has never found anything amiss on any of my pc's - if you take the time to read the terms & conditions it's probably of more use to ms to have a bit of a snoop around your pc as anything, i can live with that though & seems harmless enough to me.btw although i don't use mse the detection rates are now pretty good.
